Clinics & Services

Nursing Services

The nurses can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

The treatment room is available for appointments Monday to Friday between 08:30 – 12:00.

Maternity Services

Community Midwives work with the doctor to provide care for mothers before and after delivery and care for the baby during the first two weeks of life.

Ante Natal: Every Wednesday Afternoon

Well Baby / Immunisation Clinic

We recommend and perform full immunisation for all children. It is essential that babies are checked to ensure they are progressing normally and are free from disease. It is also to ensure that they receive vaccinations at the appropriate times.

Every 1st, 2nd & 3rd Wednesdays of the month: 15:00 – 16:00.

It is recommended that the elderly and those with chronic illness receive ‘Flu’ vaccinations every year. This can be arranged with the nurse in the autumn. Regular tetanus booster vaccinations are advisable. Advice on vaccinations for foreign travel is available. Please see the nurse at least six weeks before travelling.
